1. Q: What is an NCB inspection?

A : An NCB inspection is an inspection conducted by National Cargo Bureau. Many shippers now require that Flat Racks be inspected prior to being loaded onto the vessel. Morris will handle all aspects of the inspection including scheduling.



2. Q: Is Morris a "Bonded" facility?

A : Yes, Morris is a "Bonded" warehouse and has bonded trucking for transportation of "In Bond" freight.



3. Q: Is Morris C-TPAT Certified?

A : Yes, we are C-TPAT Certified.



4. Q: Does Morris pack air freight?

A : Yes, Morris packs air freight on a daily basis. We provide scales weight for all material packed. Our appropriate employees are approved by TSA to handle air freight or emergency packing.



5. Q: Does Morris have their own trucks?

A : Yes, Morris currently has a fleet of 10 trucks for material pick up, delivery or drayage of containers and flat racks.



6. Q: Can Morris receive rail freight?

A : Yes we can. We have an 8 car rail siding serviced by Union Pacific Railroad. Zone 7, Track 820, Spot 00 (0782000).



7. Q: Can Morris pack Hazardous Materials?

A : Yes, we have an experienced dangerous goods department that is well versed in DOT, ICAO/IATA and IMO Regulations.



8. Q: Can Morris pack offsite at either a vendor facility or at the local area docks?

A : Yes, we have numerous, experienced crews we send out to the field to export pack material with advanced notice as our offsite crews are in high demand. Morris will insure your job is completed in a professional and timely manner.



9. Q: Is Morris' wood IPPC compliant?

A : Yes, our lumber complies with the requirements of the ISPM-15 standard. Most countries world wide have adopted this standard to protect against infestations of import packaging material. All Morris boxes will have the IPPC stamp.



10. Q: How long does it take to pack material once received?

A : Once the material has arrived and we have received packing instructions, we request 5 days to have the material ready for typical ocean shipments. Expedited services are available for air freight or to meet any dead line or cut off.



11. Q: Does Morris provide moisture-sensitive packing?

A : Yes, we can provide water proof paper lining, vacuum packing with desiccant bags as well as VCI wrap and spray on rust inhibitors.



12. Q: Do Morris offsite employees have TWIC cards?

A : Yes, all of our employees that we send to the pier for a project will be carrying TWIC cards.



13. Q: What is a TWIC card and what is it used for?

A : TWIC stands for "Transportation Worker Identification Credential". The TWIC Program was designed by the TSA, DHS, and the USCG to provide a tamper-resistant biometric credential to maritime workers requiring un-escorted access to secure areas of a port, a facility, and to vessels regulated under the US Maritime Transportation Security Act.



14. Q: What are Morris' receiving hours?

A : Morris hours for receiving material are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday thru Friday. Weekends and after hours receiving may be arranged with prior notice.



15. Q: Does Morris have a secured facility?

A : Yes, we have security officers, a 24/7 guarded gate, as well as security cameras throughout our facility.
